Congratulations to the following for their outstanding efforts in this past week’s play! Distinguished honors go to:
Wyatt Loomis (Majors’ Phillies) for propelling his team to a 7-4 victory on Friday evening, May 11th with his two-run, rocket shot homerun over the right field fence of the Main Hill Road Field (the ball landed on top of the batting cages)! We’re so proud of you Wyatt! Hope you enjoyed your special moment!
Austin Stevens (Majors’ Diamondbacks)…who sent the crowd to their feet by smashing a grand slam over the Hill Road Upper Field fence during non-league play against Liberty on Saturday, May 12th! Way to have a moment Austin and show our visitors how our DBYS players can hit! Keep up the great work!
Kyle Brignola (Majors’ Yankees)…for putting on a 4 for 4 hitting display that included three beautiful doubles and a homerun bomb over the Hill Road Main right-center Field fence, Saturday night, May 16th. In addition to his amazing offensive play, Kyle threw out 4 runners at home (one of his throws to home came from center field – WOW!)! Now that’s a career day for one terrific 12-year old! Keep us smiling Kyle – you’ve got fans!
Austin Stevens (Majors’ Diamondbacks)…for helping secure his team’s 13-8 victory with his two-run homerun blast (his 3rd of the season, by the way) over the Hill Road Main Field fence under the lights on Saturday, May 19th! When you’re hot, you’re hot and Austin is on FIRE! Keep it up kid! We love watching you play!
12U Tournament Team…for going undefeated (5-0) and taking home the 1st Place trophy in the 2012 Fleetwood Area Baseball Association (FABA) 12U Tournament! The boys played amazing baseball all-weekend long, outscoring their opponents (Kutztown, Brandywine, Oley, Fleetwood and Boyertown) 71-3! We’re so proud of our 12U boys! Keep the momentum going and enjoy all the fun of tournament baseball, all season long!
Corey Criblear (12U Tournament Team)…for pitching a complete game (all 6-innings) and leading his team to a 4-3 victory over Boyertown in the Championship game of the FABA 12U tomorrow this past weekend, May 19th-20th! Keep doing what you’re doing Corey! You make the game so exciting!
Our Buddy Ball Program…for winning a District Award that will be presented at tomorrow evening’s (Monday, May 21st) School Board Meeting! Such an awesome program, such deserved recognition! We’re always so proud!
